Delhi Public School Patna East proudly hosted Canvas Chronicles 3.0 – Inter-School Art Competition 2026, a vibrant celebration of creativity, imagination and artistic expression. The event brought together talented young artists from 12 participating schools across Patna, providing them with an inspiring platform to showcase their artistic abilities and explore diverse forms of creative expression.

The event was honoured by the presence of Chief Guest Padma Shri Mr. Ashok Kumar Biswas, renowned Tikuli artist and exponent, and Guest of Honour Mr. Parvez Akhtar, acclaimed theatre director and designer and recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Direction.

Their presence and interaction with the young participants added immense value to the occasion. Their inspiring words encouraged students to embrace creativity, experiment with new ideas and discover the limitless possibilities of artistic expression.

Under the visionary guidance of Principal Dr. Rakesh Alfred and with the able leadership and support of Deputy Head Md. Ashfaque Iqbal, Canvas Chronicles 3.0 provided students with a dynamic and engaging platform to experiment, innovate and express their ideas through a wide range of artistic disciplines.

The young participants displayed remarkable creativity, originality, imagination and artistic skill, interpreting the given themes through their individual perspectives and artistic styles. Their work reflected not only technical ability but also confidence, innovation and a willingness to think beyond conventional boundaries.

The participants were evaluated by an accomplished panel of judges comprising Ms. Nitu Sinha, Ms. Tripti Rani, Mr. Santosh Kumar and Ms. Shabina Iman.

The jury assessed the entries on key parameters including creativity, originality, artistic expression, interpretation and execution, recognising the exceptional talent and effort demonstrated by the participating students.

The closing ceremony added a festive and celebratory spirit to the event with captivating performances by the DPS Patna East School Choir and School Band. This was followed by an inspiring address by the Guest of Honour, who encouraged the young participants to continue nurturing their creativity and artistic vision.

The much-awaited Prize Distribution Ceremony brought the event to a memorable conclusion, celebrating the achievements of the participating schools and recognising the outstanding efforts of the young artists.
