Admission 2026-27.

We are delighted to announce that Admissions for the Academic Session 2026-27 will be open from Monday, 03rd November 2025 for classes Pre-Nursery to Grade IX.

Parents may avail both Online and Offline modes of application for their convenience.

Age Criteria.

The eligibility criterion for various classes is based on the age of the child, as recorded in the birth certificate will determine the eligibility for admission to a particular class.

School Transport.

All students have to compulsorily avail School Transport facility. Commuting by private vehicles is not allowed. Exceptions will be permitted only for students residing near the School Campus and designated ‘supervision’ areas. All others have to necessarily select the nearest Bus Stop while filling the form.

Registration.

The Registration Form, duly filled in all respects, should be submitted to the school along with the required documents within three days of purchase of Prospectus & Forms.

  • Registration Form is not transferable and only the form, issued by the school, should be used for the registration of your child.

  • Parents are requested to go through the Prospectus and Admission Information Document carefully before filling the Registration Form.
  • Incomplete or illegible Registration Form will not be accepted.
  • The applications will be scrutinised and only those found complete in all respects will be selected for Observation/ Assessment. Intimation of the exact date and time, along with the Interaction Card and the Identity Card will be provided at the time of submitting the Registration Form.
  • Applying for registration/admission does not imply admission, which is subject to Observation-cum- Interaction/ Assessment and Interaction. It is also subject to the availability of seats.

Documents Required For Registration.

  • The Registration Form with a recent passport size colour photograph of the candidate pasted on the form.

  • Both the copies of the Interaction Card with recent passport size colour photographs of the candidate pasted on each.

  • Birth Certificate (issued by Municipal Corporation or any competent government authority. Certificate issued by doctors, nursing homes, etc., will not be accepted).

The Registration Form will be rejected if any discrepancy is found between the particulars filled in the form and the supporting documents. Originals will be required for verification at the time of admission only.

Observation-cum-Interaction For Class Nursery And Prep.

Admission to Classes Nursery and Prep will be granted on the basis of Observation-cum-Interaction. Presence of both the parents during this period is mandatory.

Parents will have to bring both the copies of Interaction Card on the date and time mentioned on the cards, when they come for the Observation-cum- Interaction. The Interaction Card will have to be handed over to the Teacher In-charge for Observation-cum-Interaction and the Parent’s copy will be retained by the parents to collect their child after the Observation Session.

Evaluation, Assessment And Interaction For Class I Onwards.

Class I onwards, an Evaluation will be conducted which will be followed by an Interaction Session on the same or another designated day. Both the parents must be present in the school on the designated days.

Parents must bring both the copies of the Interaction Card on the date and time mentioned on the Interaction Cards when they bring their child on the given date. The entire procedure may last three to four hours. Parents are advised to plan their schedules accordingly.

Before the commencement of evaluation, parents must hand over the student’s copy of the Interaction Card to the Session Incharge

Admission Process.

Parents/Guardians of successful candidates will be informed via phone call or message on the registered phone number. Parents of successful candidates will be required to contact the administrative office for the completion of admission formalities by depositing the required fee and other charges along with the necessary documents.

Documents To Be Submitted At The Time Of Admission.

  • School leaving/transfer certificate and previous year’s Report Card. (Without this no student from Class I onwards will be admitted.)
  • Medical certificate.
  • Blood Group of applicant
  • Duly signed NACH Mandate
  • Parents ID proof

  • Local Address Proof

  • Birth certificate, in original.

  • Recent passport size 4 colour photographs of the candidate and both parents.

Admission will be cancelled if any variance is found between the particulars filled in the Registration Form and the documents submitted for admission.

Transport Facility.

We cover main trunk and feeder routes. Specific bus routes will depend on demand and will be determined at the beginning of each academic year. The school reserves the right to fix and/or change bus routes as may be necessary from time to time. Parents will be duly informed about the bus routes before classes commence.

General Rules.

  • Admission fees will be made through online transfer.

  • Payment of School fees can be made through NACH only and will be deducted from designated bank account.

  • The amount deposited towards registration and admission for a particular year is neither refundable nor transferable to any other year. Fresh registration will be required if the child is to be given admission for a subsequent year.

Boarding Facility.

DPS Patna East offers the finest boarding facility for boys from Class IV onwards. Excellent living quarters, well-balanced diet and supervised study time are just some of the features. Parents requiring boarding facility must contact the Admission Counsellor.
